Samsung Fall 4 Piece Kitchen Package Rebate

Receive a 10% off rebate with purchase of qualifying 4 piece Samsung Kitchen Appliance Package. Rebate form must be postmarked by 12/5/2019.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

i loved the refrigerator overall, but i had the unit serviced over three times within a year for plastic parts breaking. they would not honor the warranty that was in place on my account.

Problems from the first day.

William Allison 5/16/2019

This refrigerator has design flaws in the ice maker. It is a continual problem with frosting/icing jamming the ice maker. Samsung service is not good. The unit is 1 year old. We will be looking elsewhere for a new refrigerator.

Beware of ice machine!

Toomanyproblems 5/16/2019

I bought this refrigerator 1 1/2 ago. I really like it except for the ice machine. It has never produced a lot of ice and it was slow to come out. I've had to call 3 times to have the ice machine repaired! Ice builds up into a huge chunk and will not work. Each time, the repair person looks at it, says the whole fridge has to be defrosted and then they come back to fix it. The third time it couldn't be fixed. So now I'm waiting for Lowes to contact me about getting a replacement. It's been nothing but a big hassle!

Defect in this ice maker

Samsung Everything 3/21/2019

I purchased this refrigerator Oct 2017. It is a great fridge and beautiful. We love everything about this fridge EXCEPT the ice maker. Within a couple of months, the ice maker started to freeze/frost up and stopped producing ice. I have had a Samsung tech out at least 2 times, just called for a third. If you search the web, you will see that everyone has this issue. Hopefully the newer refrigerators being shipped have been fixed. The problem is the ice maker in the top refrigerator section and too much warmer air is reaching the ice maker box. With the humidity from the fridge, it creates condensation that then becomes frost/ ice build up and shuts down ice making. My ice maker has been replaced and caulked, and I still have this issue every few weeks. Then the ice maker has to be thawed and dried out to re-start the ice maker. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE SAMSUNG. You almost have a perfect refrigerator. Minus the ice issue, this is a 5 star fridge!

Ice Maker is JUNK

Jbrogley 3/19/2019

Rest of fridge is fine. Ice Maker is TERRIBLE. Malfunctioned within a few months. Samsung wouldn't cover repairs, so we just dealt with it frequently freezing up. I would chip it out with a knife. 2 years later it finally quit...$300 dollars later...Consider the fridge is over 2k & they advertise the ice maker as a power house, it should consistently work. As a side note, we bought 4 Samsung appliances at the same time. 2 of the 4 needed expensive service within 2 years.

It's very nice but . . . . .

Dadrock33 2/21/2019

Really like the unit and the extra frig drawer and the drawer inside the freezer too. However, we're noticing moisture developing between the doors just in the middle so serviceman is on his way out next week. Small plastic piece broke off of one of the handles (kind of an end cap) and they won't send it to me - they have to send the whole handle . . . big waste.

Do not buy

Ashly 1/2/2019

Unbelievable that Samsung is able to sell this, knowing there are significant design flaws with the ice maker. I've spent as much time attempting to defrost the ice maker as I have spent with it functioning. There is a service bulletin out regarding the issue, and a class action lawsuit. Samsung chat support is very unhelpful, and insist I pay a service fee to have the issue assessed. Unless Samsung steps up to make this right, I will never own another Samsung product.

Great idea, poor product

juliemomof2 12/11/2018

I have had this fridge for just over a year now, and the ice maker started to freeze up. A problem that I am finding is well known by the company. Unfortunately they won't take responsibility for their poor workmanship after just over a year. I really wish I would have seen some of these reviews before I purchased my entire kitchen of Samsung appliances.

Couldn't be Happier

Elle100 11/3/2018

We replaced all our appliances this year (June 2018). I waited to write a review until we'd used them all for a while. A friend had this frig. She raved about its convenient layout and how much she loved the middle drawer. I was hesitant. Who really needs another drawer? Plus, it's not an inexpensive purchase. Bit the bullet anyway on her recommendation. WOAH! She was right. I, too, LOVE the configuration, its ease of use, its ability to keep food at proper temps making my groceries last longer, its cooling system that prevent bad smells, its quiet personality and its dignified look. Yes--the one drawback is exterior fingerprinting. That is a problem, no doubt. However, vinegar and water or just plain soapy water works well to control them--clean the doors often. I'd certainly recommend this frig.

Loud Defrosting

NO LONGER A FAN 10/13/2018

I purchased this refrigerator a month ago and it is the loudest I have ever experienced. I submitted a claim, the technician confirmed the was nothing wrong with the unit and the sounds I hear are a result of the refrigerator defrosting and ice dropping to the bottom of the pan. I find this to be an issue and flaw for which apparently will not be corrected or addressed by Samsung which is disappointing and sad. I am sometimes startled at night due to the loud crashing and knocking sounds coming from the refrigerator. This is not my norm and it's disheartening that the company feels this is acceptable and not try to remedy the issue. I own many Samsung products (cell phone, smartwatch, tv's, washer, dryer, all kitchen appliances), so to say I am usually a fan is an understatement; however, this experience has been a very disappointing one. A customer service rep called to obtain my service feedback and I was placed on hold and she never returned, the following day I receive another call from another rep who cut me off while I was speaking. I expect more of Samsung and this experience has really enlightened me to rethink any future purchases.

Okay but wouldn't buy another Samsung fridge

NShucard 10/6/2018

I bought a fridge only about a year and a half ago and already it's having issues. Biggest complaint is that the ice maker hardly works. The ice maker is constantly getting jammed as the ice freezes in blocks before it can enter the dispenser. To fix this we have to take out the ice compartment and chip the ice blocks off, difficult to do and annoying. The ice maker also leaks into our fridge. The storage space is ok but not efficient for tall containers or items in the fridge. All in all I say not worth $3000, I won't be purchasing Samsung again.

Around 70 days - See 16 Days - Just bad service

KCUPSETupdate 9/17/2018

After having nice new fridge for 16 days it stopped freezing. After a month or so that got fixed, but the ice make didn't work. They decided to replace the fridge. Well, long story short, we got a call yesterday saying that they are giving us a refund. Honestly, this is a beautiful appliance and we love the features; that's why we made purchase. We never, in our nightmares, thought service could be so bad.

16 Days

KCUpset 7/10/2018

We've had our fridge for 16 days now and the freezer doesn't work. I'm well aware that these things happen, but I'm upset that in the Greater Kansas City area there appears to be only one Authorized Repair Center, so we have no choice but to wait 2 to 3 days for anyone to even look at it.

Dont throw away your ice trays yet

badbird1998 6/27/2018

So we have had this fridge coming up on 3 years. Each year we have the ice maker worked on. Yes it makes a lot in 24 hours but it doesn't hold enough. Try filling 2 sports bottles see where that takes you. So disappointed in the ice maker it made me write this. What isn't in the specs and description is. You will need to take your hair dryer to the little eye in the back at least once a month to keep it from freezing over so it will still make ice. The ice comes out wet. Also it gets lodged at the drop point so it gets clogged. Easy fix get the hairdryer out again. It makes 10lbs of ice a day but only stores 2 so don't throw your ice cube trays away yet. especially if your kids have sports. I would highly recommend you buy a good hair dryer for the ice maker monthly maintenance you will need to do. Also when its time to change the filter it shuts the ice maker down ( Easy fix is pull it out count to 10 then reinsert it) This will hold you till the new filter arrives every 6 months look up that cost. We do actually like the storage capacity and the different set ups you can do. The middle sliding storage is awesome for drinks keeps them from opening the doors and staring at something that won't appear. I would give this great reviews if it wasn't for the ice maker is so disappointing I would go back to our last one but the stainless doesn't match our appliances. Hope this helps.

Some thoughts on the 27+ cu. ft. 4-Door French Door Food Showcase Refrigerator RF28JBEDBSR/AA after three days or so…

SpiritWolfNJ 5/31/2018

Upsides: All in all, third day, I like the box. It's spacious and it's got enough "horsepower" to cool properly at the current ambient temps. For now, in the NYC northeast, it's about 78 degrees. Also, about 8 hours into the wake-up cycle from the installation, it's making ice cubes. Even with multi-stage filtering on the water systems, the first plastic-y cubes and ice water were tossed; that 5 gallons of waste water isn't fun but it's needed. I like the lighting; can't miss a thing with the transparent shelving and LED lights. Very nice. Also nice is the interior room; it's taking the place of my GE Signature unit from 2001 or so (might be 2002 I'm really only replacing it as it was heading to the showers; it drips when the humidity goes up as the mag seals are failing and I can't locate replacements. They're torn and flopping and, well, it's just that time). The other plus is its size. The GE was 21ish square feet and this unit is over 27. That extra space is going to freezer and fridge and I needed (wanted) both. That way the failed upright freezer that was in the garage is now "sleeping wid da fishes". I'm going to miss the ice maker on that beast; it was the best and NEVER had an issue till the end (sometimes I'd have to shake the box to let some of the ice cubes drop from the cooling unit. That kept the wire bale up and stop production and that was 15 years after I got the thing :) So, the downsides to the box: Temp controls are good, but temperature uniformity is shaky. Using an infrared thermometer, choosing a -0 on the freezer and 36 in the refrigerator side yielded a +5 and +39 on the inside panels (towards the back of the refrigerator near the metal panels). This was about 12 hours into the cooling. That should be enough time to get rough results with the masses I was cooling. Next day I choose -7 and +34 and read the temps some 6 hours later with a -3/4 and a +36/37. That would (barely) be cool enough but I read an increase of about 7+ degrees in the door shelf. That brought the milk to about 40+ degrees and that's in "the zone". I'll check again but I don't think that's a good sign so I'll see after another day of cooling. As an aside, the center cooler (flex door) has been set to it's coldest setting and it's above +29; things are defrosting. Slowly to be sure, but they are. It's warmer to the front of the fridge than towards the back. Something to think about. 5 degrees differential or so? Good only for temp items. That's a common thread. I do wonder about the insulation in the door areas. They seem insufficient to keep the heat out. Those are my current observations at the moment. The ice maker is making ice that's not tasting as much like plastic anymore and the cold-water dispenser is doing its job properly. I can draw about 30+ oz of water before it gets to ambient and that's good enough at these 78 degrees or so (it's getting warmer this end of May, 2018. NOTE: The ice maker is VERY loud. People outside of the kitchen can hear it all the way to the front door and beyond and that's about 12 meters or so (about 36 feet) and around a door facing the other way! Refrigerator Shelves: In the default config? No way. They're good looking in the showroom, gotta move them when you get them home. They're usable but I had to sacrifice one of the shelves. I opted for the single-shelf, not the split one. Dunno why, just thought it would be better going forward. Just in case. Probably not the best option for stability reasons (as the manual says it can "disjoint" (my interpretation of the manual)). Door Shelves: Kinda sucky. That's the way to describe them. Not so flexible in positioning and on the icemaker/water dispenser side, almost non-existent. The right dual-door side has large enough shelving, but the positioning of them is just bad. No other way to explain it. You can't change them. Period. Yes, lower part of the external dual-door can hold two (yes two) gallons of milk, but the shelving above can't be arraigned so I can put my sodastream bottles above it. And the topmost one? Eggs. That's about it. Meh… Looking at the manual, I see this on page 28: 1. Door Bins Door Bins (1), Moving tray Bins (3) To remove - Simply lift the bin up and pull straight out. To relocate - Slide it in above the desired location and push down until it stops. Door Bins (2) To remove - Take the right side of the bin out by lifting it at an angle along the guide, and then take the left side out by pulling it from the door. To relocate - Slide it into the original location and push down until it sticks Umm, sure, I can remove them…relocating them? Can't seem to manage that at all. Move them? Stick them? REALLY? Jeeze… Postmortem: It's about the size, silly! The box is a beast and I like it... I think. Takes some getting used to. I'll post more as things progress

Prepare for ice maker problems

Ekim78 5/26/2018

I really want to love my refrigerator. I mean it's cool and there's nice lighting and all. The problem for me is that the ice maker has always been slow which I had seen prior but yesterday it quit altogether. In looking up fixes, I find hundreds if not thousands of on line complaints of the same thing. I've included a link which has 42 pages as of yesterday of people with problems due to ice maker. If you are considering purchase, just be aware that you may have to settle for buying your ice in bags. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/forums/v3_1/forumtopicpage/board-id/Kitchen/highlight/false/page/1/thread-id/284

Bad Ice Maker

JohnC1234 4/8/2018

Over all this is a decent fridge when the ice maker is working. I have it now 6 months and just request service for the second time, for the same issue. It appears that the ice maker has a known leaking problem (according to the first technician that came to fix it the first time). The ice maker overfills the tray causing the water to leak everywhere in the ice maker compartment. The water then freezes causing the ice maker to stop dumping ice and all the mechanisms to freeze. As I said, this is the second time it has happened during the 6 months I have owned the fridge. This is just a poorly designed ice maker. As long as you don't care if the fridge makes and dispense ice, it isn't a bad unit.

Samsung Refrigerator

BecarefulofSamsungproduct 3/27/2018

I have purchased Samsung appliances in December 2017, and by March 2018, the ice maker has to be re-built. I literally have empty out my refrigerator to power off my refrigerator so the ice maker can be re-built. This is not ideal when you have a family of 4 in the house and have to take food off temperature and will not be food-safe temperatures. Thanks Samsung for this! I will not recommend, nor purchase anymore Samsung appliances. Be careful when purchasibg and read reviews very carefully.

fatal flaw

fridgefriend 3/15/2018

i loved this fridge until.... the middle shelf of right door is only attached with two little screws in two little pieces of plastic. they screw into a metal bar. this shelf looks like the bottom one that moves but it does not. it does on the quad version. they break off with average drinks put on the middle shelf. bad design. then to make it almost comical, the samsung solution under warranty is to replace the whole fridge because there is no one in out major american city who they have authorized to fix it. (it was missing several screws from the factory but i doubt they would save it from the bad design. ) so sad to see it go .

UPGRADE REFRIGERATOR

ohyeahhhh 2/12/2018

We have always used Frigidaire products in the past and had issues with the ice maker. We love the Samsung TVs and wanted to try out the appliances. My husband and I do catering and this fridge was perfect with the extra storage room and cooling zone to keep everything fresh. We are thinking about upgrading to all Samsung appliances.

Brand new fridge and already doesn't work

fmichigan 2/6/2018

Just bought this fridge two days ago and was delivered today, and the water/ice dispenser already does not work. This is our second Samsung fridge, the first one only lasted for seven years before it completely died on us. I was hoping that this second time around would be different.

This product has very efficient storage

HWillie 12/31/2017

We replaced a side-by-side with this product and it has so much more storage possibilities. Whereas the side-by-side could not store anything in the freezer as large as a turkey...and had several storage areas that could only hold small vegetable boxes; this product has a large volume storage area and in addition a place for the smaller items. Everything is working fine, the lighting is great in every volume. If the upper freezer shelf came out when the freezer drawer is opened it would be perfect. As it is, it hangs back when the drawer is opened. No big deal but I would prefer that it come out with the drawer since the things (for us) that we most often use are in there. I gave the value 5 stars because of the sale during November 2017.

The showcase keeps the milk in the door colder than our previous French door, family loves it. We have been impressed. It has exceptional storage. The ice maker and water dispenser has worked with no issues. It is important to follow the directions for setup.

We Like it

Roomy, smooth operating. We probably would have been happy with the 25 cu ft. unit. It is a little cramped in our space.

Great product, nice features

bobby002 9/10/2017

We just purchased this refrigerator and love it. It has plenty of room to keep all our food items. It has several compartments keep vegetables, yogurts, drinks etc separate and easy to get to. The door-in-door comes out very handy and saves energy.

Superb product

Workhorse 9/8/2017

Love this product. Far superior to the previous unit which was a GE. The ice maker and the water dispenser are excellent. First time for the drawer features for the freezer and we love the easy access.

Style meets function

Ginger2017 9/3/2017

The flex drawer gets drinks cold real quickly. I love the show case door is real convenient and holds things real securely. From start up the fridge got cool surprisingly quickly I believe it was due to the metal sheeting inside. Very stylish looks great and easy to polish. The fridge also had the smallest ice maker compared to all the other brands available on the market and having that fold able shelf next to it is nice for tall items. The drawers that hold fruit or produce can easily slide with only have one door open which is convenient.

Ice Maker Leaking - Check the forum

ShouldvChecked 8/28/2017

After just a month over 1 year of use, the ice maker is leaking water down the ice shoot and into the fridge compartment. I thought perhaps it was just the warm weather lately. But, it hasn't been all that warm. So, I searched the Samsung forums and found that it is a chronic issue that they don't seem to have a solution to. Search the web for Ice Maker leaking for this unit. I am in constant fear I'm going to wake up one morning and find water all over my hardwood floors!

So far I am impressed with this Refrigerator

PCcoach 8/5/2017

This Samsung Refrigerator replaced a High End LG that lasted me 6 years. I choose this refrigerator because its design layout and I just couldnt spend this kind of money on another LG. This Samsung is 3cu smaller than my previous frige, but because of the flex drawer I actually am able to fit more stuff and better organized. I love the Food Showcase door for the most used items. Extremely quiet, I actually have to stand next to it to check if it is running! Makes ice in large amounts pretty quick, much faster than my old frige. Family of 4 and we all love it. I am not crazy about the size of the ice maker and the space it takes, but I can definitely live with it. I also like the location of the water filter and the easiness of replacing it. Even though I love this frige I had to give it a 4 out of 5 for value. I spent over $3000 with tax and extended service plan, in my book thats a good down deposit on a car. I am hoping that this refrigerator will last a very long time.

An affordable fridge has (almost) all the features we want

tripodCat 7/30/2017

There are other refrigerators in market which has fancy stuff--LED display, glass door see through or build-in pitchers. But we don't need those feature; let alone they are more expansive. The price of this model is at the mid-point of french-door refrigerators by top brands, according to my research. I love the door-in-door feature (grabbing a bottle of cold beer has never been easier). The soft-freezer works! I set it to -1C for most of my microwave food and meat. I even wish the soft-freezer compartment could be a little larger.
